The Australia Vietnam Business Council (AVBC) in collaboration with Vietrade – Ministry of Industry and Trade, S.R.Viet Nam held the AVBC – Vietrade Business Forum as part of the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Australia and Vietnam. The event was held at The Sydney Boulevard Hotel, NSW Australia on Tuesday, 27 June 2023.

Mr Kiem Dinh, AVBC National Chairman & AVBC President (NSW) welcomed attendees at the event especially the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) Delegation visiting Australia. Mr Le Hong Minh, Director, Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mr Vu Nguyen, Vietrade Event Coordinator who accompanied the Vietnam Trade Promotion Delegation to Australia that included businesses such as: Tai Ky Food – Flour JSC – Base Flour, Vietnamese Traditional Cake Flour & Fry Mix Flour; Newmom Co Ltd – Seafood Processing & Export; DTC Vietnam Co. Ltd – Wholesale of Agricultural Products; Nature Lobster Import Export JSC – Shrimp Seed Farming; 76 One Member Co Ltd – Medical Equipment, Backpacks, Tents & Thermos Bags; My Nghe Viet Development Import Export Co. Ltd – Exporting Vietnamese Handicrafts; Medipha JSC – Hospital, Clinic Facilities and High-Tech Laboratory Centres.

Other invited guests included AVBC Members, Business Associates, Business Organisations & Networks, as well as Government Departments. Mr Kiem Dinh mentioned “the aim of the forum is to create valuable opportunities for businesses from both Australia and Vietnam to connect with potential business partners, and encourage participants to exchange business information, as well as business matching between Australian and Vietnamese Businesses”. The forum highlighted marketing insights to increase bilateral trade and investment opportunities between Australia and Vietnam, as well as developing networking opportunities to establish business connectivity that encourages the development of sustainable bilateral trade and investment with businesses in both counties.

Mr Lenny Volpicella, ACY Securities introduce the Signing of MOU between Tai Ky JSC Vietnam and Lotus Pty Ltd Australia in the presence of Vietrade Representatives and AVBC Executives.

Ms Jenny Zhou, Chief Executive Officer, EW Property Group presented a Bouquet of Flowers to the AVBC Business Relations Management Team as a ’Thank You” for coordinating the event at The Sydney Boulevard Hotel.
